Having provided shop drawings and production information for hundreds of vessels over the decades, Vuyk Engineering Groningen has gained unprecedented experience in the detail engineering of hull and superstructure constructions.

A typical project starts with gathering information about the client-specific requirements and production facilities. With an Information Requirement Scheme, the foundation is laid for a smooth detailed engineering phase, with complete and accurate drawings and production information.

All detailed engineering is done using the NUPAS-CADMATIC 3D software in an in-house model database, providing a one-to-one relationship between drawing and production information. A solid base for competitive engineering!

Piping, ducts and cable trays routed in this model can automatically generate penetrations in the ship construction, further enhancing an already cost-effective engineering process. Our tools and people can flexibly adapt to client requirements for the output formats of drawings, data and files. We can also provide invaluable input to facilitate the client’s logistical management of the building process.
