Vuyk Engineering Groningen provides reliable, quality and cost-effective partnerships to ship owners, shipyards and other shipping related businesses. Delivering a flexible approach to the total chain of design, engineering and production/logistics, we develop innovative and exceptionally competitive designs either ‘off-the-shelf’ or customised to the particular requirements of our client.

The available expertise at Vuyk Engineering Groningen covers more than 200 general cargo vessels, container feeders and tankers, all of which have been designed and engineered in our office. Often this has been in close cooperation with the shipyards. This ensures a head start to every new project: Clients greatly benefit from the bredth of our expertise, ranging from the purely theoretical (FEM analysis, resistance and propulsion) to the highly practical (workshop drawings and production/logistic information).

Over the years Vuyk Engineering Groningen has worked with a number of respected yacht builders and architects on the design and engineering of superyachts. Today we can offer design and engineering services to all but the smallest of yachts, backed by the experience of participating in the creation of, for example, three of the world’s largest sailing yachts and motoryachts ranging from 45 to 80 metres in length. Our experience in the logistics of the production process of commercial vessels combined with our specific yacht building knowledge offers clients instantaneous benefits in both build quality and lead time.
